I have the same issue. I guess it's something going on with the game itself then. As I have Intel Xeon E3 1230 v3, 32GB RAM, RX 470 8GB and GTX 1050Ti (I am running Aster to use my PC as 2 workplaces) Now, I have no issues running the game on the 2nd workplace with GTX 1050Ti, however when I try to run it on the 1st workplace, it won't start and just show an error on Uplay. So what I have done so far is:

    1. Disabled Aster so I was able to try both GPUs (same result: I can play with the GTX 1050Ti but not with the RX 470)
    2. I have updated AMD drivers to the latest version (18.5.2) - same results.
    3. I have verified the integrity of the game (even though I have only 1 copy installed)...

So I am assuming that there is an issue that will cause this (most likely in this game rather than AMD drivers).

Can we have some clarification from UBI? The time is kinda running out here.

    Hey,

I have reported this to the dev team. I do not have anything to share to clarify what this issue is at the moment.

Hrubak, we recommend that you run the game on your 1050TI for the time being.

Oreo, do you meet the RAM requirements?

    Crashing on Start up

I played a few Hours yesterday, tried playing it again later on the same day, and when it launched the game, it would go to a black screen for a second or two then crash back to the desktop, tried today and the same thing, i've got the most up to date Nvidia drivers, also Verified files once yesterday, and today, still can't play, was really looking forward to playing the beta longer then a few hours, these are my specs if it matters.

I have the same after playing for hours yesterday and a bout an hour today, fed up of looking at a black screen. Given up for the moment, just checking back here to see if anybody posts a credible fix.

Same here. The game crashes every single time in the beginning when I get to the boat racing. Happened twice already. I'm sure the specs I'm using are more than adequate. Don't know what to do at this point. I know it's a beta but I won't throw cash down until I can at least try the beta. Not a good first impression.

    Core i7 5820k, 32GB DDR4, GTX 1080ti.

Had similar issues with game crashing at random in races.
I did a clean driver uninstall using guru3d Display Driver Uninstaller and reinstalled nvidia driver 397.93. Haven't had any more issue since.
