Frame rate and stuttering when T500 is plugged in | Forums

The beta is unplayable with T500, low frame rate and stuttering all the time, even in videos. If I unplug the wheel it goes away. If I plug it back in it crashes the game.

Game is still unplayable with the T500 RS plugged it , stutters, 10+ fps.

Yeah, it’s horrible. I really hope Ivory Tower fixes it. I was sought of hoping to enjoy the beta.

The T500 RS is on our list of officially supported peripherals for the PS4. That implies that this wheel has been tested and proven to work. Make sure you have updated the firmware for the wheel.

I did update the firmware , and issue still persists , I doubt it has anything to do with that anyway , since the whole game just stutters ( I mean fps drops and audio stutter ) , and the wheel aint working right , only pedals do. I gotta steer with the arrow keys on the left ,, steering wheel itself doesnt do much.

the moment i unplug the usb from the wheel , no more stutter , smooth gameplay

Did you also see an improvement after the firmware update, slaatz? Even if it didn't resolve the issue.

I've passed this on to the team to be looked into.

No change at all after firmware update , game still is unplayable ( audio stutter - low fps ) when i unplug wheel , game is running fine and smooth again
