    7 second invincibility on respawn is WAY too long

    I'm all for helping with spawn camping but 7 seconds is doing more harm than good. In a 12 player game, most maps are going to be small and typically can be traversed in 7-12 seconds. Played a map yesterday where the enemy team was pushing into our base and they were invincible.

    Also not everyone knows about the invincibility so the lobby was complaining about emptying a clip into someone in the middle of the map and having them not die. Then blaming it on lag or blaming the game itself or worse yet downvoting the map because of the bad experience.

    Solution recommendations:
    **Timer needs to be reduced to 4 secs
    **Invincibility needs to disable automatically 1 second after player fires weapon (even if it is prior to 4 secs)
    **visual hitmark indicator needs to notify shooting player of the invincibility so they don't blame the map or latency.

    7 seconds is very disruptive to map flow. 7 second is an over reaction to spawn trapping. 7 seconds is overkill. 4 - 5 seconds would work.

    I think even 4 seconds is too long.
    3 is perfect and if you shoot any weapon or throw any throwables then the shield instantly drops.

    Bonjour à tous, oui en effet les respawns posent beaucoup de problèmes, surtout sur les petites cartes, et c'est encore pire quand on a des maps " tué en un coup". Je suis d'accord avec vous, il faut qu'ils règlent ce problème qui gâchent nos parties en multijoueur.

    I shouldn't be able to exploit i (Point blank explosives) so self-damage should still be allowed

    hello all,

    the timer should be decreased at next TU, and possibly invincibility disabled if you shoot before end of timer
    as for visual marker, normally you should see the name of the player invincible flashing, it tells you he's invincible. should already the case
