The game is overscanning on my TV (AKA the TV doesn't show part of the image)

I cant solve it with my TV as it doesnt have any option for it (quite an old and cheap TV). All the games solve this problem with the "Display Area Settings" option of the PS4. But that doesnt have any effect with The crew 2 BETA (or The Crew 1).

This is how the game looks.

This is the "Display Area Settings" option I talked about

    Please solve this.

    Try if you haven’t yet.

If you haven’t already, try checking the Picture/screen settings on your tv. There’s (probably/maybe) a setting for the overscan, i know that my tv has a setting for it.

The TV doesnt have any option for it. Like I said, quite old and cheap TV.

It's not a common issue because most TVs have the option you are talking about, but there is other people that suffer this in fact.

I wonder what the "Display Area Settings" of the PS4 does to solve this (I also wonder why Ivory Tower didn't applied it in 4 years). When I plug in my laptop to the TV (hdmi too), NVidia has a tool to decrease the resolution (instead of 1920 horizontal lines of resolution I have 1780 or so) and by doing that solves the problem.

I'm having the same issue. I have a Philips 4K smart TV and none of my tv settings help with the issue.

Thanks for reporting that this is happening. Can those affected tell us the type of PS4 they're using, the model of TV, and any steps that have or haven't helped that have been tried?

Okay, i'm playing on a first gen, original PS4. I cannot change the way my screen shows the game. Not on the PS4 itself and also not with the remote control of my tv. I also haven't seen a screen when I first launched the game. Many games do show a screen to see if the game fits well in your screen.

    -PS4: base
    -TV: i-Joy i-LED24 SGB17

I can't solve it with non of the options the TV has. Not even the "Just Scanning" option.
