the link refers to the problem i had some time ago and although i was aided by a mod, this problem reoccurs again. i already tried to reinstall but no good. my character just stands there. with nothing for me to click. this happened to me twice before the situation fixes itself but it takes a while to fix itself and i'd really rather not miss an event because of this. is there a real solution to this?

I'm sorry to hear you're still experiencing this. Have you tried submitting a ticket with Ubisoft Support to see if any help could be found there?
