Is pirate faction the next thing in For Honor? | Forums

In the new video we are told there are cool surprises coming to For Honor. Then we are shown (4:26) what I perceive as a cutlass. Could that mean there is a pirate faction coming to For Honor? I think it would work lore wise, pirates don't need land, they roam the seas, so the universe would be intact.

Devil's advocate to the new faction theories, we don't have a second culture tied to the Samurai yet (we have Romans with Knights and Scots/Celtic with Vikings, all Samurai have is these are an offshoot to what we are).

I have a pet theory that there is someone else involved though, the campaign specifically says that there is a civilisation that built settlements that neither the Knights, Vikings or Samurai did, I believe that is significant, I just have no idea how they plan to use it and against my point above the Samurai were forced out of their home and into the Myre by something.

I’d like to see more exotic cultures join the Samurai.

Like Phillipine/Polynesian Warriors, Hindu, Chinese, Egyptians maybe?


As for pirates, I’m worried there’ll be gunplay. How in Sam Hill would someone parry or dodge a flintlock?

If they didnt make a new faction for Gladiator and Cent, I highly doubt they'll start making one any time soon. We will probably have a chinese fighter next
