Arm graphic on Classic MC shirt?

So I was messing around last night, playing dress-up with my agent, and I put on the Classic MC shirt (not sure if that's exactly what it's called, but it's from the Mk3 caches, and it's supposedly some sort of old-school motorcycle outfit).

It has a light blue graphic running the length of each arm, which appears to be a word, in some sort of old-English style font.

For the life of me, I can not figure out what the heck it says. The right arm is unreadable because of our commendation patch. Looking at the left arm, it appears to read from hand to shoulder, and it looks like there are 5 letters total: an "M" followed by an "A". The third letter is tough to make out because it falls on the elbow. The last two letters look to be an "I" (capital i), and an "S".

MAVIS? MAXIS? MANIS? There aren't too many English words that I know of that fit those criteria, and none of them make sense as to why an old-school biker would want them written across the arms of his shirt.

    Any ideas?

Hard to say. Only old school motorcycle I know of that comes close is the Norton “Manx”.

Interesting. It's definitely got 5 letters, so it's not that though.

I'd love it if a CM could kick this to the art department to get a definite answer...

Remember to avoid brand issues, it may be a spinoff name.
