Solomon Burke, blues/soul artist, at age 70 of natural causes in Amsterdam's airport. He is survived by his 21 children, 90 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
I'm not a huge blues fan, but can appreciate it all the same and the influence it has on other genres. I was introduced to him when I ran across a song of his in an episode of House, of all things.

No crime has been commited 
Paul died a peaceful natural death.
He'll be incinerated, put into an urn and then presented at his own exhibition.
His successor is a young kraken named 'Paul' who should have been trained by 'Paul' these days. Unfortunately 'Paul' died and young 'Paul' is on his own.
We'll see if he is a worthy replacement without 'Paul's' education.
