Dear Ubisoft Team,
Firstly I want to say I absolutely love the game. It’s beautiful, engaging, and one of the best games I have ever played. My only gripe with it is that there is no option to join the cult. Given that Joseph Seed offers you forgiveness several times in hopes of you joining the cult, I think that it would be a cool option to have. Instead of fighting John, Jacob, and Faith, they could be mission givers. Also, you could have to hunt down and crush the resistance instead of helping it. I personally think this would be a very interesting avenue to explore and I hope that if it wouldn’t be too much of an undertaking that it would be possible in the relative future as dlc maybe.
While this is a neat idea....they don't actually offer you ANY choice when it comes to the story....
1) Early walk away....game over, no further play.
2) Late walk away...reload game and instead of freeplay you are thrown back to just before Joseph confrontation.
3) Resist....only way to actually finish the game and enter freeplay afterward.
4) At no point in story content are you offered any choices, everything is scripted in you HAVE to do exactly what the story wants EVERY TIME YOU PLAY.
There is no CHOICE in this game as it relates to the story of the main game.
True, every Far Cry 5 player wants to have this choice, even joining the cult is better then a nuke in the plotline, in fact every Religion ever existed predicted a apocalypse, how come there isn't a counter Cult-Cult, A good cult to prevent the bad cult killing owners of nuclear bunkers and shelters? that would be also nice, forming your own cult against other Faction Cults.Originally Posted by modmcsupersport Go to original post
Totally agreed
Whatever you do, it's hopeless.
I'm not concidering this game as an RPG.
But it's a game! Not a Movie - we just have to watch and have NO choice whatsoever.
Especially with this plot leading to a choice... well ... illusion of it
There is Hurks Gate! Would be a start.Originally Posted by nathenofdrakes Go to original post
