    Suddenly experiencing poor performance

I played through about half the game wih decent performance -- avg 45 fps on max settings -- from my new 1050ti. But about a month ago I loaded Far Cry 5 and was suddenly capped at 17fps on max settings, 21fps on low. I also noticed the calculated memory usage had more than doubled in the in-game graphics settings from less than 2GB to about 4GB.. Not sure why this has happened but my game is pretty much unplayable.

Anybody else experiencing a similar problem? Suggestions?

    Thanks

I'm out of town but I seem to recall a video setting like resolution multiplier. Make sure that didn't change. That one does increase the video ram requirement.

    Are any other games affected?

    Hi eldaroth69,

Thanks for letting us know you're experiencing this.

Could you let us know if you encounter this issue only in Singleplayer mode or in Coop as well?
Additionally can you please let us know if you experience lower FPS in online mode on other Ubisoft titles?

It would also be helpful if you could provide us with a copy of your DxDiag & MSInfo to a case on our support site.
