    Dodges should get iframes

Before the collective "REEEEE" comes, just hear me out. Since some dodge attacks get "dodge frames" which let you dodge everything no matter what touches your body, why doesn't this apply to real dodges? I'm tired of dodging bashes with shugoki and getting hit anyways for being too fat.

They do though? You never had someone pinned in the corner and just sort of weave in place as the attack phases through their body?

I've actually never seen attacks pass through someone's body and do nothing, besides on kensei when he's in the middle of his dodge swipe.

This is a bad idea, and what would stay out as a way to buff larger, slower classes would serve to put assassin heroes leaps and bounds ahead of the rest. Assassins get enough hate without something making them legitimately over powered.

How would this do anything besides help slower classes? I'm not talking about giving iframes for the entirety of the dodge, I mean right at the beginning say for 100-200ms or so similar to nobushi's hidden stance usage. All this would do is make dodging usable for those with worse dodge like shugoki.

Dodge doesn't need iframes, provided you dodge correctly. Must slow classes like that shouldn't be dodging much to begin with. But if you need to dodge, doing so in that proper direction will keep you in the clear. All adding iframes will do is make it more forgiving for a missed dodge, and that's not healthy for anyone.

Dodges already have iframes but not every hero have them

Afaik every dodge has iframes. There is no difference in "slower" classes dodges compared to "faster" classes ones except for the distance dodged, not the iframes. You just time it wrong, bro.

The only thing I am not sure of is if only side dodges have iframes because I never ever evaded an attack when I dodged towards my enemy.

That's a good point. Pretty much every forward dash is to either close distance or start a special attack.

I think a lot of player underestimate how effective side dodges can be against heavy attacks, especially something like Raider's zone. There's the feint into GB danger, but if you wait, that can be read. I almost always go for a dodge when an offensive Highlander comes at me. And dodging a Kensei's top heavy chain finisher as Warden will get you a charged shoulder bash; it's one of, like, three moves in the game where that is guaranteed.
