According to me. When it comes to where you can choose various ammounts of characters to go into different gamemodes and compete, Ubisoft have always been amazing at balancing those heroes. I mean sure many characters like in R6S have been pretty broken when they first relleased. But nowadays I find the operators amazingly balanced. Same thing goes for For Honor. However. With the lates rework for conqueror I feel like Im not the only one who stands without a solution when the enemy conqueror is constantly giving you 50/50s. If Im playing berserker (or any other character with a sidedodge attack move) Im able to get a few of those moves in. But of course, the conquerors ar not stupid so they do what For Honor is about, they adapt. And now I am constantly dealing with 33/33/33s instead. I am at platinum III in duel tournaments and I find the effectiveness of conqueror compared to their level off difficulty, is way to high. Dashing forward to then do 1 of three very good moves depending on what your enemies decides to do, is at the lower level of the skill chain for me. Of course not all conqeror players do this. But when there is potential for a player to beat their enemy with the same move for the whole fight for a couple of rounds or teamfights, I start to question the heros current state. So with that said I despise the fact that conqueror can potentially be the most effective hero in any playstyle category the player decides to use. Wether it is counter attacking or pure offense. Me, friends and a lot of people Ive met in For Honors matches feel this way and we hope to see a change. I love For Honor and this is the fist ever time Ive written a community thread for a game and I would love to hear others thoughts on this.
