Certainly Im not the only one who is experiencing this. It seems as if the player base on console (PS4) nearly vanished. For the last few weeks even before season 5 I cannot seem to go 1 game without having a bot on my team and the other team complete with 4 actual players. If I happen to get matched with a complete team for whatever reason, it might just be me.. but it seems like the people Im being match with either are not around my skill level and get waxed outright every encounter, or better yet I get a Dunmuhglass on my team who just decides to do his hyper armor spin attack in one area (mostly at spawn) lookin like Leather Face at the end of Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Now let me get this straight I am not insulting anyones play style or skill level. All Im saying is this is happening far to often to be coincidence either the player base has shrunk to a degree where matchmaking has an issue finding a full roster perhaps it has a time limit set to where if it cannot find X amount of players it just goes because it cannot find enough players due to there being none. Or maybe its rigged like some games in threads I was reading in the past where people had mentioned that it would seem some games have rigged matchmaking to force one side or a player to loose creating a chain of obsession with winning, K/D, and the old cliche I gotta have one more go to try and do better or complete some wack order/quest/event.
Anyway I skipped out on most of Season 5 and came back for Season 6 honestly for the Roch. I have been playing him since beta and was excited for his rework however not a huge fan of what they decided to do with him I can live with riptide change even though I get GB out of it well into the animation sometimes and SR should've been how it is now in the first place. You mean to tell me a Full fledge Adult Elite Warrior can't switch angles or cancel a run? The side lights... well they needed to be a little faster but not super fast honestly I would have rather they not been sped up and riptide not been changed (or keep it the way it is now idc...) but actually give us opener to open turtles.. LB, Cent, etc.. y'all know who you are, but I digress
Ubisoft this Bot situation needs to be addressed if anything this along with the lag that has not been fixed a whole lot since launch if the thing that will cause me to retire again. Sick of getting 3 bots on my team every time I try to play a game or get put into one thats ending in 30 seconds. Fix the game more players will join. Stop adding new **** to distracted people and work on the core, what is already here. It's a great game and has been in my mind since it was first shown at E3 but seems to lack structure and support you know some TLC. Find this Ubisoft Montreal and For Honor might have a future and not go down in gaming history as the game that had amazing potential but had no back bone.

As EvoXTalhante has mentioned above, we made some matchmaking changes in last weeks patch in order to try to improve the balance between player ranks in matchmaking. We're currently trying to gather as much feedback about this as possible, so thank you very much for giving us this detailed information!
We'll do our best to get these matchmaking issues resolved as soon as possible, and I'll keep you informed as always!

If you want some feedbacks, i've made a post about it too few days ago.
I have exactly the same problem... always a bot in my team and my mates are not in my skill braket which makes me 1V3 always as they are free kill for the other team.
My best friend has the same problem as well .. i am rep 88 and he is rep 96.. we are on PS4 too.
Since these changes... it is really HORRIBLE to play 80% of time if not playing in team with good friends.

This is not about time. I find a match in dominion almost always in less than a minute but my mates are low skill :/
In deathmatch it takes more time like 2 minutes maybe.
But the longest mode To find a game is really Tribut. . Takes between 3 and 5 minutes. .
So in my experience time is not that much the problem . . This is all about skill braket.
I dont want to look arrogant but is it possible that i am 95% of time with low skill payer (not rep they have like 60 rep or more bit not good anyway) because i am also in the team which looks balance then To have 4 guys in the other team like in the average/ kind of high level braket ??
Really my friend has the same and it makes the experience to play alone l'Inde le difficult since season 6 :/
Last time i was with him and our two others teammates were good too and this is so rarely that de played maybe 20 games straight together 😅 was fun.
