    Arcade Editor commercial license question

    Hi Guys,

I'm wondering: an example: I'm creating a nice scenery within the far cry 5 arcade editor, take a nice screenshot, use it as an artwork for a CD cover and sell them - easiest example I could imagine.

I know there is a license agreement for the cryengine sdk, but is there also something like that for the far cry 5 arcade editor? So is there a problem with using ingame screenshots or videos for commercial design or whatever?

I hope you get my point. Though I'm not quiet sure if this is the correct platform to discuss this, I would be very happy for every comment. Thanks!

    J

You have to ask for permission from UBI corporation!

I think you can't. Any material created with the editor is property of Ubisoft:

If you do use any of the Materials to create any content, all of the Materials and any modified elements of the Materials (collectively, "User Modified Materials") will be solely owned by UBISOFT. You may not modify or adapt the Materials in any way or otherwise use them for any public or commercial purposes. User Modified Materials will include any content created using the Materials or tools, such as User Generated Content created with the Materials made available by UBISOFT.
