Making Resetting an Actual Mechanic in the Game

Does anybody else think that resetting should an actual mechanic in the game? I honestly thought that resetting was a form of cheating when I was a beginner, but it's actually a huge part of the game, but it's still very weird and embarrassing seeing pro league players team killing and injuring themselves for a reset. I don't know of a way to implement this mechanic in the game correctly, but I'm sure the developers can think of something creative.

Best way to go about it is memorize the weapons damage and always shoot the foot doesn't always have to be through a wall. And don't forgot to switch to semi auto. Its would be kinda hard to make it an actual mechanic as its a side effect of having dbno and ff. For example you could technically do it in pubg except you come back with extremely low health.

If you can't figure out how to reset yourself, git gud. Really, you're just bad/careless if you mess it up.

That's not what my post was about...
I was just asking for a more realistic way to heal your teammate rather than killing yourself from jumping off of a roof or have a teammate firing at you.
But like I said, I can't think of a way to implement this though, but the developers will surely come up with something that works if they started thinking of a way to implement resetting as an actual mechanic in the game.

^ My post addresses what you are talking about exactly. We do not need a "reset mechanic". The way you do it now works fine. No, there should not be a "mechanic" in the game for injuring yourself. One, git gud and learn to reset. By this I mean that the existing system of friendly fire/falling works fine. Two, it could be misused by randoms - injured with bad timing or injured to bait your own team into trap/trolling, and even injured when nobody is there to help you.

    tl;dr: No, bad idea.

Ye shooting teammates to revive them is stupid.

I consider it a bad idea. While resetting can be useful, it'd be pretty stupid and a waste of resources to add code just to call it official when it's already obvious how to do it. It'd almost be like healing. And it is VERY hard to take a bullet out of someone undercover irl, let alone during a high-intensity special forces operation - unless you're Doctor Strange of course *uses magic hands to just whip the bullet out and stitch em back up*

This lol its just like bandit tricking its an unintended mechanic but its the best way to keep a wall from going kaboom so the devs leave it be.

    I think it's a good idea.

It doesn't have to replace any method that is currently used to reset, but they could add a feature where your teammate can heal you to 50hp when you are under 10. So a prompt would become available just like a revive prompt when you are close enough.

This will strengthen team play and mitigate some risk of team killing when trying to reset.

    1. Yeah, I know it works fine and it's easy, again, my post was never about resetting being hard. My post is about resetting being unrealistic as it is right now. Simple as that.
    2. What could be misused? I very clearly said multiple times that I can't think of a way to implement this in the game and I said that the developers are much more capable of thinking of something that cannot be misused by anyone and made the post so maybe the community could help out too.
