Female Highlander is canon, but there aren't any plans to bring her to life in-game at this time unfortunately.

Oh come on! Its practically trolling to do this. Putting in a reference to something you already knew people wanted and then not going the whole distance? Why did they even mention it then?!

Think of the goodwill you would earn. Think of the justifiable irritation of not including this option. And for that matter yes, there are still people who want you to put a gender reselect option in the Story mode! Seriously guys, you have an interesting, promising world that could be developed. Don't just brush off story mode as it would be a tragic waste. You could profit greatly by expanding on the co op potential there to market FH to a wider audience just as Dark Souls caters to both groups.

I always have wondered why we cannot replay the story mode and change the main hero's looks and gender. It's the bare minimum in games that have this kind of replayable story mode after all. I would even take a blunt "reset story mode" function and start it from scratch if it meant I could have fun trying out the story with all the hero looks and genders.

Maybe I've been spoiled by RPGs but when it's fun it's fun.

Ungenderlocking all the heroes would be a great move imo. I'd gladly accept that as a major feature for one of the seasons.
