Just fired up the game, downloaded Hours of Darkness, hit continue on my main campaign and all my weapons, etc. are showing up and not disappearing on fast travel, death or mission completion.

Tried downloading hours of darkness. It still does the same thing. As far as I am concerned, the game is unplayable.

This is true but regarding Hours of Darkness stuff. Yes you will not lose ex. Truck coming with this game extension. Still all the DLC coming from deluxe and gold edition of the game will be gone from inventory, shops after death or fast travel. Let’s assume you are using sniper rifle coming from gold edition of the game after fast travels and death you will have empty slot without any weapon. So you are waking up with no rifle, just imagine you have used 3 weapons from gold edition you are getting second life with your hands only. Maybe this is assumed to be additional challenge in the new life haha

Seriously, this is bulls*** It's been now two weeks or what?

All the mentioned "work arounds" here don't work for me. I'm stuck in the Faith boss fight with a metal club, because all the weapons I had taken with me were Gold edition DLC. I have no way of accessing a shop, and there is no "abort the mission" menu option in the boss fight. All I can do is charge Faith with the club (while the spawning zombie guys also attack). I usually get to hit her two times after which I'm always killed by her "magic shots". I'm basically screwed as of right now and I have a feeling the eventual fix (if there will be one) will leave me and my particular situation behind because to help me it would have to either A) give me back my weapons STRAIGHT INTO my inventory (and not just prevent them from disappearing after I got them back from a shop) or B) let me load a previous checkpoint / save file... Somehow I doubt either of these will happen.

In any case, my lessons from this:

1. NEVER EVER again pre-order a Ubisoft game for the extra DLC (because here it not only turned out worthless, but actually worsened the experience for me because I relied on it)
2. IF my particular situation will not be solved in an upcoming patch and Ubi actually tells me "sorry, but you have to restart the game after 20 hours", THEN NEVER buy a Ubisoft game again - as much as I like Far Cry, Might and Magic and some of their other stuff, I will have to get my fixes somewhere else, because I won't let them walk over me like that.

I know I'm frustrated and some people might think all this is childish, but it will simply be too much for me IF I lend up losing these 20 hours for which I had paid - both with money and my limited time. I have too many games and not enough time to just flush 20 hours down the toilet. I can usually play 1-2 entire game in that time. I will lose that much time only once, if I have to lose it.

This is a joke ? Must be, because I really can not belive this. The main game is unplayable and you guys want to fix it earliest after 6 Weeks or so ?!?

Hmm... just checked my salary account and could not find any receipt of money for my Beta-Testing of Far Cry 5, as it looks like the end customer is supposed to do so....

Just to let you know I am having the same problem. My Pre-Order perks that include guns, helicopter, outfits are missing. Having to use in game earned $ to upgrade standard issue equipment. I am still waiting for a fix/reply. My issue started at the middle of May and persists to the 1st week of June. Please fix or offer refund or game purchase credit for the future.

Great, glad there is a missing weapons from DLC fix coming...how about the weapon wheel issues that have been around for a few months now?

A new dlc but still no fix for those who bought an early edition gold copy. I guess Ubisoft would rather people just saved $50 and bought the standard version.
Hey, I have an idea Ubisoft, just roll back that last update and our weapons and vehicles should come back.
