Can't hear teammates on voice chat(tts) | Forums

I can't hear my teammates over voice chat. I thought it might have been some setting that got messed up but voice chat volume is set to 100. master volume is set to 100, music volume to 0, dialog volume to 100, voice chat record level is at 100, and voice chat record threshold is at 35. I can see the icon on the screen indicating that my teammates are talking but I don't hear them. Help would be appreciated since it is very frustrating not being able to communicate with my team.

It was already set as default device but the fix in this thread worked for me

I had checked under settings>system>sound>device properties, and the box for allow apps to use device was already checked. When I checked under the privacy tab everything worked.
