I'm seriously confused how no one bothered to boot up the game and check for themselves.

For all those concerned. They did not disable the ability to play custom maps publicly. They made two playlists, one for featured maps, and one to play custom maps. You can all relax.

I am going to stress this one more time, and I am not going to argue this any further with you .

Arcade Hero has been around since day 1.

The purpose of Arcade Hero is only for fresh new maps that end up on the server, and need votes.

You can not choose your own maps.

You can only pick A map that are new , and need votes.

Understand?

On topic, every screen, solo, public multiplayer and private multiplayer, has a filter option to search for maps by name and creator. If you can find any map, what precisely is stopping you from playing your own?

You can only choose your own map , if you are in A private lobby . All that other stuff does not matter. What I am telling you is fact

@player3069 if anyone hasn't already gotten the hint by his name.. he obviously chose that screen name for a reason.. hes like the Dirty Mouth (the most annoying yet funny as hell user trying to insult everyone one for a living on ps4 ) of these forums .. the only difference is that the joke can only live once... imitators are null and void

Im not arguing with anyone on thr facts of the matter. Im just being amused by all the crap being thrown around. But on topic, as i say, every screen, public and private, other than quick play (i didnt check those), has a search function. By name and creator. Surely once a map has been uploaded to the server, its irrelevant who made it, its just a map. So what stops you from going into a public game, hitting x to search for a map, and typing your own map into the search field? The map will pop up and you select it, no? If the same search engine exists in private and i public, yet they stop it from finding yoir own maps in public, thats naff.
There is a separate box in both solo and public, for searching maps, that isnt the arcade hero box. Are you saying, if you go into the specific box for browsing maps, and type in your own map, that it doesnt allow you to play?

@BERTANDERNY no it doesn't work like that, you cant just choose to host a public match or join a public match by selecting the map you want to play if you search it.. I might be misunderstanding what you are saying but that's what I take it your saying.. correct me if your wrong..

Exactly what I am saying . They have taken pick A map completely out of the public lobby. You can no longer browse maps while in the Lobby

Upon having a proper good nosey at the mp screens, i do see what you are saying. The ability to host publicly isnt there. You can search for maps in public but cant set one up for play. What a weird way of doing things. Whats the point of having the search option.
I suppose it allows you to find a map again after playing it.
The "easy" solution would be to allow you to open private sessions. Have a public / private toggle.
You can do it with co op maps. Odd you cant do it with deathmatch maps.

Anyhoo. OP. What you are suggesting isnt there bud. If you have seen such a thing please provide clear instructions or provide a vid on how to accomplish it. As it stands, It appears it cannot be done.
