I run Far Cry 5 on a PC. I purchased the Gold Edition so I would have all the fun goodies included. No after the update... DLC items are missing when it boots up. i.e. the Gold and Steel sniper rifle and Steel and Ivory magnum (both were in my weapon wheel.) Plus, I noticed if I went out completely and reloaded the game, they came back. If I got killed and the character re-spawned... they disappeared again. I also noticed that the Aireal Force helicopter was gone and even rebooting would not bring it back. It appears like other cars and helicopters were also missing, as well as other weapons... but I am not sure which ones since I have nothing to compare.
When I look in settings, I do show the Season Pass and DLCs installed. This new patch really screwed up the game though. Hopefully, this can be corrected soon.
Same thing happened to me. I have purchased the deluxe edition which includes some weapon skins like the silver ar c skin. Everything seemed cool until the items started dissapearing. When I mean dissapearing I mean gone from item shop (as you said) and inv. I've restarted computer and game several times and they usually come back but once i fast travel or die they're gone again. Please help, I want to use the itmes i paid for really bad.
how to fix it
at least with a Uplay only copy this worked for me
exit steam and Uplay .................after the patch install
restart both steam and Uplay
verify your game files i did this why running Uplay as an ADMIN
exit your launcher
Uplay // all your Season pass content is there
right after it patched i noticed my helicopter was gone too ..did the abouve .. now its back same as all my weapons and outfits ..
again not sure if its just a steam issue as i have a Uplay only copy of FC 5 gold edition for PC
To verify your files if you bought the game thru Steam ..\EXIT Steam ..right click your steam icon ..select run as Administrator
to launch Steam
then go to your Steam games library
right clik on your game (fc 3 4 whatever)
select properties
select local files
select verify Integrity of game cache
it takes a few min to do but its faster the redownloading your entire game , if its only a few files that were corrupt or installed incorrectly .... this in many cases will fix your problems
If you have the U play only Version of the game you can also verify your game files with U play
if you have the game via u play only here are instructions how to verify your game files thru their client
Again its probably best to make sure you launch Uplay as RUN as Administrator when you do a file verify

you always should verify an update that's over a gig an size .. same thing happened with FC 4 a few yrs ago as i recall
and yea you needed to restart your clients and verify your files to get the data correctly installed .. hmm and i think it was far Cry 4 1.6.0 that was goofed up with that game .. coincidence ?
but try what i posted above it works fine now for me here .. but i have a UPLAY only copy of FAR CRY 5 gold edition
Steam editions are a bit different in how they handle files and verification .. hope fully the way i posted works on steam as well
always launch STEAM as an ADMIN when you do a file verify for best results
and yep it did the same thing here i lost all my DLC stuff .. but after doing what i said in the post above this .. every works fine and is restored
