    Console light attacks

I am loving season 6 and think it shows great promise for the future. The only issue I and many others have is the speed of certain light attacks on console at 30fps. Will Ubisoft address this issue?.
This is a great game with an in-depth fighting system which sadly is rendered mute due to light attacks at such speed. There is no point learning complex mixups or indeed a characters full kit when one is slapped out of said moves by a light attack, nor is there any point using your kit when simply tapping one button can yeild such winning results. I and those I play and talk about this game with have a fear this great game is turning into Call of duty with swords. Please address the matter of light attacks on consoles to an ever growing number of players. Sadly many of those I play with and talk to in groups have simply given up, I imagine you hear all types of fix this or I leave posts, this is not that. I and many others want to hear from Ubisoft if they are aware of the difference in light attacks on console and if they plan to adjust it.

Until they fix it, which I doubt they ever will, just stick to bot matches... If you have friends to play with casually, invite them to a custom match and do a bit of roleplaying. (only Vikings vs only Samurai)

It is the only way the game is playable, until they overhaul the defense system
    (shameless selfbump)

I am in full agreement with you here. While i do think season 6 is definatly the start of getting on the right track. There is still a vast amount of issues to be ironed out. Many of them having existed and still exist since launch. Those other problems being countering gaurd break, Unblockables, as well as Light spam being one of them.

    The problem with light spam

The problem with light spam is. That while its ok at the speed its at. It dosent allow for ample recovery time. It also has killed the use of countering and or using a dodge. The other problem is that Light chains and consistant light attacks. Repetively and consistantly stun an opponent. Realisticaly the light attack shouldent be causing a stun as frequently as that. Or keeping the means of ones use of dodge and counter attacks from happening. I can see it causing a stun if you interupted a light attack with your own light attack. That to me is Realistic. But when your standing there attempting to dodge a light chain. Only to be constantly hit and forced to stand there and watch like a helpless fool. Because it prevents dodging. Is quite counter productive and detrimental to the game.

The Suggestion to fix Light spam.

My thoughts on fixing the state of light attacks. Are pretty simple suggestions. First off light attacks need to be more realistic. They eathier need to be slowed down to give that chance to get a dodge in. Or while keeping them at there current speed make it so that they realisticaly dont cause a stun with every hit. Secondly the only time i would say such a stun from a light attack should even remotely happen. is if you counter and interupt a light attack with your own light attack.
