Miners strike mission can sometimes soft lock for a couple of reasons:
- SB supply convoy, which goes through La Marqueza, can contain targets required to proceed to the next objective (pyrolusite mine). This usually happens when the supply convoy is found in the kill zone when Nomad or his team become hunted/visually detected/fire the first shot or faction warfare breaks out between SB, Unidad and rebels. If alerted convoy is allowed to leave visual detection range, or even completely disappears from the map before the last remaining enemies become marked, objective will allow Nomad to proceed to the mine and result in unwinnable scenario once all enemies at the mine are eliminated
- Depending on Nomad's entry point, rebel announcer can say that more troops are on the way (happens twice, once in La Marqueza and again in the mines). When these scripted troops start decimating SB forces, SB might call reinforcements of their own. New SB enemies will also need to be eliminated, before going after the remaining marked (yellow in first playthrough, white in mission replay) enemies. Otherwise kill requirement counter can become confused.
- Team AI? I've seen this bug a few times (campaign/ghost mode), but never when playing without team AI. In any case, that's a few too many variables.
Have you attempted or done another mission/side job and then restarted the challenge from scratch? This usually resolves most bugs. If not, restarting the game or PC should clear out any leftovers.
