    People should play some competitive Tekken or Injustice and get their asses handed to them like here, then complain on these forums about how "unreactable", "guaranteed" and "cheating" everything in the game is.

But back to Orochi, my guess is some of his 400 ms light are "garanteed" in certain situation. Also, there is the fact internet connection setup and the choice of the monitor on which you play can cause up to a 200 extra ms delay in the red indicator appearing. Not everyone has a top notch gaming setup and for the poor people out there, Orochi light spam can be extremely near impossible to react to.

    I have a degree in video game design and there is nothing more frustrating to a player when he feels the game is cheating him. If you take the Aramusha exemple I just described, misinformed players will try to block top after receiving a side heavy and they will SWEAR they were blocking top and the game just didn't let them do it. As a result, they feel the game is cheating them and they will come on the forums yelling about Aramusha light spam problem.

    That's very bad video game design for you right there. Ubisoft For Honor is full of it, situations where the outcome is "blurr" and players feel cheated by the game all the time, from garanteed attacks you swear you should have blocked to invisible pixel on stairs preventing you from dodging, characters spinning 360 degree to catch someone with an attack, characters "zooming" toward their targets to catch it, etc. etc. etc.

    For Honor is fun, but deeply flawed and EXTREMELY badly designed.

    But as usual, you have the answer to everything Knight_Raime and that troll answer is far too often "lol l2p get gud".

    If there is more than one orochi on the other team it’s a massacre. Its impossible to even block 2 orochi coz constantly
    getting light spammed. Can’t throw feint cant GB coz just light spamming cant block most of the time. If first light gets in all combo gets in. I can’t even do warren counter top it’s ridicilious. Not sure but I think they changed his stamina drain feat as well animation is so long with that light spam it’s as good as instant death. Stamina starts to recover after the animation which takes forever. No skill required just smash the light attack. So lazy rework.

    I’ve no wish to get into an argument with anyone however I believe my points were valid;
    In an ideal setting in 1v1 light spam of certain heros is VERY difficult to deal with but can be done.
    However - in 4v4’s with a myriad of other happenings taking some attention away it is absolutely NOT reactable.
    The main concern here is, as put succinctly by the poster above, is that one can feel cheated and beaten not by the player but by the hero.
    It’s the effort vs Reward ratio is out of sync. I.E Why do I have to work and focus ten times harder than my enemy just to sneak in some small damage?
    Cardinal rule should be the faster the attack, the less damage it does. Damage and health numbers are way out of kilter.

    I play Orochi and have since Beta. Honestly all I hate the changes for the most part. I would rather he go back the way he was and Ubi give him an opener. There are some things I felt like shouldn't have already been part of his hit like the added addition to SR, the added combos to add more feint game, riptide could've stayed the way it is i almost feel like its worse now after the nerf on the Execution.

    Thats twice now they have taken away Orochi executions, Hurricane Blast in the beta and now riptide. Making any high risk high rewards situations less viable may as well parry specially in 4v4. I don't like light spamming I hate it. Its even more frustrating when yo come across a LB or Cent etc that blocks everything somehow anyway and turtles like madness. Its just frustrating mainly due to the fact that the game feels like it was before the rework. It makes little sense that some of these non counter attacking classes are outclasses ones supposedly built for it, that and if baffles me that all characters wouldn't have an opener.

    I think he as well as every other character in the game needs an overhaul, give each one an opener of some sort. You mean to tell me an Elite warrior and any faction in this game can't kick, punch or what have you? It just doesn't make sense at all, and lets not even get into why all classes cannot CGB on dodge if memory serve I believe only the raider can. Why make a class that is built around agile motion and screw half the kit with a free GB for doing a riptide or get smacked out of the SR.

    Ubisoft just dial the lights down a tad throw riptide in the garbage and give the Orochi a true opener to compete. Not light spam fest and wait to get parried only to eat a heavy.
    seriously disgusted by the lack of foresight for this game.

    I agree with everyone about how fast roach is but let be honest guys. Everytime they rework a hero they always nerf them back down a lil. Just give it time. Head my words, roach WILL be nerfed in one way or another. So to all you roach mains out there, dont wear out that r1 button just yet.
