Yes, already the waiting time to gather the remaining 13 players is over 10 minutes on their new "default" setting alone. On Arcade hero there is virtually nobody. This is a total mess up for the map makers and regular players but a totally ludicrous decision commercially.
Surely, a business model where people make levels for free using "future" assets that are only playable with "future" expansion packs would make Unisoft some hard cash. If the user-created content gets good, playable and addictive then peeps want to buy into the expansion pack assets. So why would the company then make it logically impossible for a user to create a map thus destroying their own business model when trying to compete with titles such as Minecraft and Fortnite.
It's the type of total combined creative and commercial suicide that only a "design by committee", disconnected, monolithic corporation can only make. It's all gone a bit EA tries to make SimCity.
