    GE Gontent

    Hay All.
Returning player and this is my first global event, been back for a bit though and have one character that's max level and working on getting a pve build. So far just have gold things I have collected that work well enough for hard content but that is about it, I have a few question concerning the GE's.

The vender in the terminal is he the only special one for the event, I do not see any others but figured I would ask in case they have one tucked in some out of the way area?
The set caches he has available are those the only ones this time around? Am trying to build tacticians build for my first classified set but will settle for firecrest or maybe the lone star if those are the only ones.

Missions, I notice there are 5 that seem to be set apart from the rest, but when I mouse over those and the others the rewards all seem to be the same, is there a reason to run the special missions over any of the others?

Last question, how does this affect both underground and HVT's.

    Thanks for any help.

the vendor in terminal is the only vendor yes, and as for cashes just buy the cashes at the bottom of the list for 1500, you can get exotics and/or classifieds from those. Meaning if you're aiming for tact set then you can have another way to obtain it via that vendor.

That vendor is the only one and the four gear sets are the only ones available there. The other nine sets can drop from named bosses everywhere though.

The highlighted playlist missions are the only ones you can use the higher modifiers. Savage and Brutal Onslaught I believe.

The status effects that your bullets do,work the same in all missions. As well as Underground and HVTs.

HVT's are a great way to jump in if you have the Intel to earn some quick GE tokens. I usually start there myself, and then work my way over to some of the easier missions to run (Hudson, Lexington, and even some Legendaries with the modifier).

    Thx for the replies.

Yah I have been doing some of the HVT'S, they seem perty decent, also the named bosses pay perty well to.
One thing with the missions though, I have run 2 of them on hard which looks like they should pay 225 of the GE credits, but are only paying 150 each, ended up with 334 after those 2 instead of the expected 450.
Any how thanks again for the quick replies, enjoying the event changes kinda changes things up a bit and makes it fun.

Don't see an option to edit a post, looks like the first two missions that I ran where on normal and not hard difficulty so was no glitch other then my own.

If you are solo the Light Zone Boss run is relatively easy and you get random CS drops in the run, so far 1 drop per 15 boss run and 150 GE credit for each boss so 15 X 150 is 2250 credits, enough for alternating purchases of one and then 2 general caches, which will yield classified gear and sometimes an exotic. I have 4 characters so it is 9000 credits = 6 caches per round. So far the payout from the caches is good but often it dries up as it progresses.

If you can team up with randoms if you do not have online friends and do the missions such as Queens Tunnel, Russian Consulate and Lexington as the payouts are worthwhile and sometimes you get drops in the event. If you are not high on armour, pad the stamina so you can survive a bit better.

Fast basic events such as the Maddison Hospital near the BOO, where you rescue Dr Candel, do not take all that long and yield 150 GE credits, whilst I am optimised so it was a bit easier even with basic gold gear it will not take long and I did this while waiting for the LZ bosses to reset, got it down to 6 munutes 30 seconds but at a comfortable pace around 8 minutes. You should get 750 - 900 per hour on a grinding schedule.

The general caches will give pieces from all possible armour, but even with the specialising do not think you will be given all pieces easily as it took me 17 specialised caches to get a Dead Eye glove, another agent took 37 to get a Dead Eye back pack while the last poor soul had opened 50 caches and was still looking for his Striker Holster, yet some sets for me was not an issue, DZ boss drop for my Banshee gloves, DZ Locked box for my Tactician Authority set, a bonus piece from a Field Proficiency reward for the Lone Star set.

It is now 2 months and I have 2 pieces to complete a first time complete collection of all CS armour. I am looking for Final Measure gloves and an Alpha Bridge mask. I actually did have the Final Measure gloves but the random team I was on went rogue and it did not occur to me what was at risk, although I was the last surviving member failed by 14 seconds to live out the timer, what made me irate was it was feral random team member who stole them when I was not far away from returning, friendly fire, what an a - h.

Fortunately not too worried as either set is not a priority so when they turn up that will be good, rather get a second set of kneepads for my Nomad set, as it suits my style really well, have one set up for the DZ and have had some luck killing the odd rogue, but not often you find them solo now days. The other one is set up for an electronic build, with a General Set Kneepad piece, so I don't get the Nomad proc, but it is so much fun sticky bombing and lobbing seeker mines which have a fast reset.

Good luck with your search for better gear, sadly it depends on the RNG Grinch as to what you get from drops but hoping you find favour and are rewarded with favourable drops of the pieces you want.
