DONT NERF ALIBI OR MAESTRO!! Im sick and tired of the nerfs of new operators! It ruins the game! People always complain new operators being released saying they are "Over Powered" but they aren't. The people that complain about these new operators are trash at the game and don't know how to adapt. The same thing happened to Lion. He was meant to counter roamers and now he is straight garbage and useless because of the community. People thought Dokebbi and Vigil were OP and now nobody ever talks about them. People need to know how to adapt and learn how to play the game. Dont take away Alibi's impact grenades! Dont nerf her guns! And please ubisoft, DONT NERF HER GADGET!! Same goes to Maestro. If you complain about these new Operators, delete the game and good riddance!
Just wait and see. They could very well be very underwhelming on release also. Things will probably change, and they might need changed based on how they interact with the game. Could be game changing, could hardly shift the meta either. I'm not thrilled about the new ops honestly, there's just not much wow factor to me there, but to each their own. But let the operators get released first before we start defending them or tearing them apart with the nerf them threads.Originally Posted by Uncuthashbrown5 Go to original post
Well lion was op when he arrived. Hes not garpage now, hes good spot.Originally Posted by Uncuthashbrown5 Go to original post
Im not trash in this game and i complain about lion, cos he was most frustrating operator play against since blackbeard.
I think people who doesent want nerfs are "trash" who just wan every help to be good at this game.
Lion was not OP, people who complained are ones who didn't like that they couldn't roam like usual. Rainbow brought the game back to how it was supposed to be, i.e. not COD and fast paced roaming and spawn sniping, but then they nerfed him to uselessness.
Had his ability gone off with no warning I would agree OP but you had warning, you could stop and then move once the timer went it was no bother now though you just stop when ever and it goes its useless.
Comment like: Just stand still...Originally Posted by Lozland Go to original post
Makes me believe, you never met Lion on organized team...
He was super op...
You could not retake objective when Lion had 2 of he's charges left
If you got droned and Lion used to EE-one-D to tell you "just stand still", 3 speed got easy kill from you
Ad in Jackal and roaming was completely out of question
Personally waiting the operator pick rates from the pro league to see the effects of the nerf
My biggest problem is the completely moronic way of designing the new operators
They are made OP from the start and nerfed down before release....
But isnt it obvious that this method hardly works...
Again, personally i would like to see it done other way around
Ability > speed > gun > gadget

Saying its wrong way is weird as most companies do this and are open about it being OP at first which makes sense. if you made them crap everyone would think they are pointless and be annoyed they wasted money or points on the new operator, at least nerfing them usually its justified and its easier to match them to everyone else.
But it is so moronicOriginally Posted by Lozland Go to original post
Just because others do it, doesnt mean you should do it too
Let's ignore Ela one of THE most broken operators from the get go but let's look at the Jackal...
When he was introduced, hes AR was one of the best gun's in the game...
High damage
High rate of fire
Low recoil
Fast reload and ads time...
There were no downsides to hes ar
And yet the ability it self was mere annoying, almost useless
If jackal was given really bad weapon from the start, hes ability could have been worked to be better from the start and then given decent weapon....
But it took several nerfs and massive tweak how the scanning works to make him viable.... Well sort if when you look at the pick/win rate
So gocusing on the ability it self first should be first priority rather then the way things are done now
