Wow dude, masterwork! I was thinking of turning one of my DM maps into a starwars theme and yesterday I watched the last jedi and you did exactly what I had in mind and some other stuff that blows my mind. Since you were the first to do, I ll share some cool ideas to make it even better. On the decoration wall with the shapes where you used the yellow color to make it look as a light, you can do two things: a) move the yellow blocks a little back, and add the "fake Sun" or "fake Sky" whatev its called, then it ll all look like lights without affecting your budget too much, or b) add spotlights to that spot to make it look as if it emits light, but this is harder on the budget.

    Awesome work dude, bravo

Do you follow the path the characters do in the movie? So many questions, but I'll never get to play. Sad to know ubi won't feature this, great map tho! Keep up the solid work.
I used mostly the generic shapes for the tie fighter and some pipes and barrels. Path is partially the same as in the movies. For example from the elevators you can get to the cell block and from there you can jump down to the garbage compactor.

Actually I first used the spotlights in corridors just as you wrote but at some point I thought that it will affect too much to budget so I removed the spotlights and replaced them with some omnies. I mean that the white dotted lines on corridor walls should have been lighted also not just the yellow lines in the tractor beam room. I calculated that it would have been too much for the budget.

    Hi Karmaiseva
Looks really good! Why not make an TDM (or DM) version of your map?

    Thanks!
Layout is quite linear so I'm not sure could it be good for for TDM or DM. Maybe it could be better for CTF which we don't have. And at the moment we can't host our maps so why bother...
