I'd like it if we had greater control over the look of our wheels. Above all else, the painting of them. Separating them into four paint areas: Primary, Secondary, Lip, & Lug Nuts. This will allow unmatched diversity in vehicle customization, as no game has allowed this in nearly 10 years.
The available paint areas would be: Spoke A, Spoke B, Lug Nuts and Lip. Spoke Surface, Spoke Sides, Lug Nuts and Lip. Or Spoke Area, Wheel/Rim Text, Lug Nuts, and Lip. Dependent upon wheel/rim design.
Allowing us to adjust the wheel/rim width, size, and to deep dish the rear wheels would also be welcomed, as it can greatly improve the appeal of a car to some people. It would also be welcomed if the widebodies had extended wheel stances available once the kit is applied, to match the width of the widebody kit.
With the addition of "Vanity Items" in the hot shot update, I think this idea should be revisited. Maybe have premium 2-tone, tri-color, color combos w/ chrome lip, carbon-fiber w/ chrome lip, & color accented wheels as vanity items. Some can even be branded, kind how the vanity tires are. Wheels like the ones on the Red Fury, Wasp edition, Black Knight, etc. can be sold as vanity items. Also underglows, colored headlights & headlight fixtures (Black Knight), colored window tints, etc. can all be sold as vanity items for crew credits.
Side note: please give us an option to turn off the solid gold effect of the [inner] gold tires, and please offer them in more chrome colors: i.e. silver, rainbow pearlescent, chrome blue, chrome red, chrome green, etc.
The Crew (1) game already let you customize many cars with two paint color schemes. Many of the exact same car models we have in The Crew 2 now.
The least and simplest thing they could have done is let us paint the rims with the same set of standard, metal, chrome, matte, anodized, and iridescent colors the vehicle bodies can be painted in.
Don't get your hopes up. The game developers don't care, because it doesn't make them any money if they implement things like that.
The whole Crew2 Game would have been much better had it just been an addon to The Crew (1) to begin with. But then of course it wouldn't have sold for $70.
