    [bug] False new item icon caused by lagged match finish

    I noticed that recently had that lag/delay after match completion, when rewards/scavenge is processed, which usually gives the message:

    "We're sorry, but our servers are taking longer to respond than anticipated"

    Then I deleted newly scavenged gear, so I'm pretty sure I didn't get any new item. That resulted in bugged character and inventory slot "new" icon marked falsely upon both, while there are no new items for that slot, and that character overall.

    Also checking all items for that slot doesn't clear the marking, it stays even when all items for that slot are deleted, yeah, I tried that some time/patches ago. It seemed that bug was present before and I remember reading in patchnotes it was fixed, but actually it is not, or it's a different bug, but the user experience is the same.

    it happens also when you destroy items you have equipped, it seems, last time the problem was fixed with the "patch reset", probably a refresh of items list cause the new ones
