The ACP is a SUPERB addition to the game. I feel like the more games that have such a tool - the better.
However, there are a few options I was really hoping would find their way into the ACP:
1) movement speed when aiming and bow and holding up the shield. So moving when jogging is still fast, but when aiming a bow or holding up the shield - the movement is slower and more realistic.
2) Enemies scale RANGE - so instead of just being able to add or reduce levels from the AIs around the world - you can tell how far BELOW the players level they can be and how far ABOVE they can be as well - so you can set minimum level to 5 levels, and above to 3 and have the entire game world always be between 5 levels below and 3 levels above.
3) if idea 2 is too complicated than at least make an option to scale down all enemies to the player's level or allow the "ENEMIES AUTO SCALE" from the options menu to override the ACP, so you can dictate that all enemies are 30 levels below their intended levels and once that option causes them to be below players level, the auto-scale option pushes them to be at player level.
4) allow the user to dictate how many skill points he receives per level up.
5) ENEMY AGGRESSION - a way to tweak how often the enemies try and attack the player so there are less times when you "wait" for the AI to attack, so even 2 or 3 enemies are tough.
6) a separate slider to govern BOSSES' level, so you can tweak bosses (any enemy with multiple health bars) to be easier or harder separately from the normal enemies in the game world.
7) This is a strange suggestion that is not likely to be taken seriously but i'd love an topion in a NG+ to scatter all existing gear into the game world, so every outfit, shield or weapon can be found in loot chests. We already earned this equipment. it can be really cool if in our NG+ we dont have to pay tons of cash to earn it again (just like you dont need to do that in NG+ already) but you still need to find it by looting chests in the game world.
8) an option , when you chose NG+, to select what transfers over -
Player Level, Unlocked Skills, Skill points, upgraded gear, shields, outfits, weapons.
9) CAMERA MENU - how come there are no camera options? like chosing distance (Z axis) when out of and in combat and on horseback. Also it can be great to select X and Y axis changes.
What do you guys say?
I say - yes. In best of modern open world action RPGs (not saying ACO is an RPG, cause it's not, but it aims to copy RPG mechanics with levelling and whatnot, so it might as well look up to RPGs) like TES, The Witcher, Kingdom Come, Gothic, etc. mods allow players to change their game rules. Make their games more / less challenging, tweak ballance, add or remove items for the best experience possible. Ubi games are known to be not moddable, which is a huge downside. However, with a tool like ACP developers can control players' creativity and allow us to tweak our game. So the more options, the better.
And for the sake of all that's good and holy, PLEASE let us tweak WALK speed separately from RUN speed. Is this too much to ask?
