-We should scrap the weird siege class system and go with the one from Future Soldier (Rifleman, Scout, Engineer) with perks
-gun damage should be based on caliber type. for example, why is the sterling 9mm deal more damage than the P416?
-We need a hardcore mode with limited HUD
I completely agree but it's never going to happen in Ghost War.
IMO, GW should have never been classed based. It should have been all about the weapons, acc's and loadout options. Let the weapons dictate what a player's role will be on the team. ....weight restrictions, armor, all of that stuff could be a factor in balancing.
I'm not big on classes but if we are going to have them, I agree that they should have been limited or at least they should have ditched the CoD perks, special abilities, tech, marking system, etc.
.....and in the name of all that's holy, lower the TTK. I hate the bullet sponge mechanics in GW.
I don't know if these are unpopular opinions, per se, as I've seen variations of "scrap the class system" suggestions before.Originally Posted by TheSabreGamer Go to original postHowever, I don't think such a drastic change to Ghost War is in the pipeline in all likelihood.
No independent hardcore mode is planned. The team is exploring more hardcore options for customs, but we don't have any specific information on that to provide you guys at this time.
