Cartmans emotes (laugh/cry/angry) not working | Forums

I've noticed for a while now I haven't been receiving emotes or words from opponents during battles, I first thought it was something that would be fixed in an update, then noticed friends were still getting them.
I can still use mine but I don't think my opponents can see them, I gathered this from being matched up in pvp with a friend in the same room as me.
It appears as if my access to this feature has been taken away, I may have misused it heavily when there were still energy hackers running rampant, probably on a lot of innocent players too as at the time I was unaware of glitches causing cards to come out late, which results in multiple cards coming out at once when the connection catches up.

Not that it bothers me having no emote banter, it's less distraction from the game really, just wondered if it was punishment for improper conduct, a bug that only some players experience, or even something I might have clicked in the settings that switched it off?

Has anybody else found that they haven't been called a bastard in a while?

Hi McMumblez,
The emotes can be turned on or off, so it sounds like maybe you turned them off. Next time you start a match, click on your emotes and if you see a red symbol with an 'x' through it, that means your emotes are muted. If it's green, then your emotes are turned on and will function normally.

Thank you very much for your reply, I shall have a look when I do my next PvP pack, this will also help somebody else who had the same problems, I also think that was a great feature to put in, it's great to have options
