I didn't even select it or activate it, but i'm pretty sure I deactivated it, I flew over la Cruz with a helicopter when this mission started and the first time I was too late, so I got mission failed and the game reloaded and put me right outside the base, I tried to ignore it, but when the time was 04:00 am I got another mission failed and the game reloaded and spawned me outside the base again, but this time I did the mission.

Yes i know, I think it was you that mentioned it in another thread about the issue? I think @Knyteryder can live with this mission in GRW as long he can choose to do it or not, luckily the Jungle Moved mission can be left alone , i have tried to kill that thing countless times already without any luck, but we can go back and try again when we feel for it, i'm sure I will succeed sometime, but I don't know when .

    Edit.

I killed the predator some days ago, it was hard, but when he stopped running around (phase two) I used my sniper rifle, which I found more easy since I only had to shot him once with a snapshot each time and phase two ended pretty quick I think .

That mission disappeared on my end; not a peep from Shepard or some groundhog-nightmare-do-over with it lol

No idea what happened to it. Oh well... I'll just play something else until this blows over.

I have a feeling he has confused "Sam Fisher", for the late actor "Sam Shepard". But since the OP has expressed his utter disinterest in anything Splinter Cell, it's not surprising that he would get the names confused.

Is not really hard, just stay with Sam inside the building and shoot everyone that enter, then is just run like a ***** to the forest until you lost them. I completed the mission on the second attempt.
The easiest way to enter and exit the base is by a small door that is on the west side of the base, the building where Sam is located is only about 20 yards from the door

Mission was easy if done correctly. I only had to kill one Unidad after the alert. Also did a video showing how to do it a little different than most people were doing it, using stealth to setup and start the mission.

Not gonna happen. Every shot after the first shot on a NPC is considered a MISS, which destroys your accuracy stat, and your "Tactical/Stealth" rating as you've been "ENGAGED".

Sometimes I wonder if people play for fun or if they play for stats... not like the stats are not wigged out to begin with but ok... I can dig that. well, no, not really but to each his own I guess. Personally I wouldn't do it because of how cheesy the whole mission is, no need to explain why so why bother with yet another mediocre half assed mission.

Your playing w/ a maxed character. Take everything away but "steady shots" and a basic drone and try it.....

    Not gonna happen.

No rebels, no AI, no Diversion, no medic....nada zilch zero....

    Ain't gonna happen.

And you got lucky. My one attempt on an alt account got blitzkrieged by Apache bombs. They bombed so hard I died to shockwave damage.

Sorry, my main isn't even going to attempt this quest, same w/ the Predator one.....It's a stat fubar nightmare....

    Ty anyway...

The way out for me was fast travel to outpost close by as soon as you respawn at the gate at 21:00. That got me out of the loop.

It's doable. Mission does not require you to do it at Tier One difficulty level. That's really up to you and your play style. And you don't need a max out character, nor be with three other players to succeed with this. Takes skill, patience, and balls to go through with it lol. But most important of all, have fun with it.
