Can someone explain the DZ bracket system

So the game is putting me in the 256+ DZ bracket even though none of the gear I have equited is over 255 and nor is there any gear over 255 on my person. So why is it doing this?

Do you have GS256+ items in your stash? Iirc those also count towards the DZ bracket.

Your stash counts. If your character has access to any gear that would put you in the 256 bracket, that's where you'll go.

As Dunkey would say this is Ultra Mega ***.

Why is a 'term for a donkey/horse family animal' obscured? Learn to spell.

Don't forget the gear and weapon mods also count.

I am running an agent in the 182 - 203 bracket, kept triggering into a higher bracket, checked everything, no resolution, so swapped for my main agent who ended up doing a cache run for divtech

After an extraction went to the stash box and discovered that my 291 level agent had previously extracted a 278 Final Measure CS vest last thing the previous evening and it was in the extracted items area but NOT in the stash box area and it was this item that was stopping me entering the 182 - 203 level DZ.

So not just what you have, or is in the stash but also what is in the EXTRACTED area count towards your DZ score. Discovered by accident, but lesson learned.
