    Community Support - GRWL meets TEARS OF THE SUN-Final Battle Scene

    I have enjoyed playing GRWL and find that it has so much replay value: single player stealth, co-op, pvp, challeges, etc and then there are the DLCs. I haven't even finished playing FALLEN GHOST and the other DLC content. Now that YEAR 2 has released I'm really excited to play the new Special Operations modes when they release and was even more excited to see that the developers listened to the community and allowed single player mode to change teammates' gear!

    BUT WHAT ABOUT THIS?!?

    NEW MODE: COMPROMISED
    One of my favorite military films is TEARS OF THE SUN w/ Bruce WIllis (see video). Toward the end of the film-the final battle, the Navy SEALs are holding the line against waves and waves and waves of enemy QRF. The SEALs have to hold the line while civis attempt to escape. I thought to myself, "what if this was in GRWL?" Well they did add Predator, a hollywood movie, to the game...so why not this?

    CONCEPT: Wouldn't it be great if there was a co-op mode challenge where the Ghosts are met with low, medium, high waves of enemies (cartels, unidad, on foot, in vehicles, and air) trying to take out the Ghost while they fall back to a safe house, that's 100 meters out, 500 meters out, 1.0K, 1.5K, 2.0K, 4.0K with NO VEHICLES TO HELP THE GHOST?! ALL ON FOOT!

    I think this would be a great coop challenge mode to this game. COMPROMISED will add to the reply value and push coop teams to work together, revive one another (no man left behind) conserve ammo, and just add pressure to reach the safe house, that with each success, is further away the next time.

    While this would be a nice and welcome Variety I highly doubt we will see it in this Game. I guess this would be a nice Amount of technical Work to do.

    But some kind of a more simple Hold-the-Line Mode in certain Areas of the Map would be awesome imho.

    I could imagine Malca Chapel for example. Hold the Entry against Enemy Waves.

    This would be really cool.

    @Kilo,
    Tears of the Sun is one of my favorite movies as well.

    To be honest, I initially had thoughts of Fallen Ghosts being more of a survival / escape scenario. After the helo goes down you would have little in the way of weapons and ammo. You would need to collect these things as you go. FG turned out to be something completely different than I anticipated but still better than NR.

    I concur, Great movie! ... the game, not so great!

    If we go by the Predator & Sam Fisher mission effort, I doubt we could see something like Tears of the Sun final assault done right... it will be either like what I stated here or like the many videos you see where the player has brought down 20 Helos, 10 APCs and 100o Unidad soldiers... and Yes UBI Guardians, this is an exaggeration

    I love the idea

    As long as Ubisoft doesn't **** it up with infinite helicopters and insta-spawn UNIDAD terminators.

    I want a running ambush....like in Clear and Present Danger (Battle of Ninja Hill)....with the appropriate enemy numbers and response and not a total goat****. You establish a position, let em close in....fire away...then scoot after planting a few mines.

    That would be an excellent experience given Wildland's terrain.
