If you don't like her, don't take her with you.

    Fixed.

She's fairly reliable when undertaking a stealth takedown of an outpost, she doesn't need to be less reliable.
'Fixing things' should relate to bugs, not suggestions to cater for an individual's personal preferences at the expense of others.

Oh right, because jacking a heli, or standing up and yelling fully exposed is so ninja-like. For someone whom only uses a bow, she's anything BUT consistently stealthy. We haven't even gotten to her random use of fire arrows for no apparent reason. Seriously, if you've not even seen such behavior from her on a regular basis, you must not have played the game much. I'm only a little ways into my 2nd play through, and I'm sick of her recklessness already.

Jess is not reliably stealthy at hunting or combat, she's a mentally unstable rebel that does whatever she wants. You got one thing right though, the only real fix is to not bother taking her along. I call making the ONLY stealth companion act out in such ways bad design, not a bug. Designing such characters on a whim for supposed story immersion is not a good idea, and actually worse than an unintended bug.

Jess is fine for getting her required kills for the challenge perks in free-roaming if one wishes to do so. Otherwise, back to 8-Bits to do her sit ups ...

Yeah if you're trying to clear an outpost the "undetected" way. GFH cannot ruin it. So I just stay outside the outpost, send in the AI and wait...

The one thing that bothers me sometimes with her, is when I'm lining up a shot with the sniper rifle, she seems to like to walk in front of me all of a sudden. I have to tell her to stay put at times cause she's always changing position.

It may just be my imagination, but the AI seems to be programmed with intentionally making certain GFH more/less likely to run in front of an aimed weapon. Jess seems to fall somewhere in the middle. I've had random GFH that do it almost constantly, to the point where I find it hard to believe it's just coincidental.

Well said, The_Father_Xmas. I think the "walking in front of me" feature is a preview of what you have to contend with in the final scene with Joseph.

On the subject of Jess Black, if you don't like animals sneaking up on you (especially in Faith's Henbane River region, where it happens a LOT) enlist Jess as your GunForHire. All animals become docile to you and her.
