Can we get an Item Wheel?

Since you always have access to items (Grenades, C4, etc.) once unlocked and they can’t be swapped out like weapons, can the devs implement some sort of selection wheel?

I figure holding Left on the D-Pad would open a menu and you’d choose items with the right stick. It’s pretty standard in most games (including Ubisoft games).

It’s kinda annoying to only be able to cycle one way through items, and in a heated moment, it can be tricky to choose a specific item when it’s needed. A selection wheel would solve that.

Yeah, the gear selection process in this game is stupid. It’s VERY easy to accidentally cycle past what you want since there are so many gadgets.

I agree. The current UI for this is horrible and can certainly be improved.

OP's suggestion doesn't hurt immersion one bit. Blacklist had basically exactly that and it was much easier and more intuitive to use.

    Stop being an asshat.

You could also have things like suppressors, scopes and folding stocks or foregrips in/out in the same wheel. You could maybe even use it while in vehicle to open windows or switch between driver/gunner

    Gee, stop being an asshat.

I never said his suggestion will hurt immersion. But there are always special people who have an unreasonably fragile requirement for video game immersion and heavily anti User Interface, right?

Please remember to keep all discussions on these forums as respectful as possible. We aren't always going to agree, but there's no reason to get heated. <3

I am being respectful, I just refuse to be politically correct.
