I am going to agree, I have played this game since the beta, and the only person I really dislike suppressing me is the enforcer, but thats what he does so I do not complain too much about it.

I do have to agree with another point made in this thread though, some guns should maybe suppress a little less than others, only because you get a massive suppression from say the MK48 from the disruptor, but than you get shot at by a pistol from 20-30 meters away and receive the same suppression, it is kinda silly. But all in all I like the suppression effect, it gets the heat pumping for sure in certain situations.

I'm fine with the enforcer having it but yeah your right . A pistol will make you blind . It's a little to much . The mechanic is not in a good place right now and is very annoying .

Like I said it needs to be dialed back .this isnt real life . If your not hitting your target with rounds you dont need to be rewarded . Either hit your target or get shot by them . It's just way to annoying . Player count on this game isnt to great and they wonder why . Theres alot I would like to touch on but I feel like a new game will have to come out for them to get it right .
Supression is fine. Take cover. You're not f*ckin Rambo to stay in the open and never get hit. They'll have to reload. When you're supressed it's not your job to fight them anyway. It's your teammates to support you and kill the one who's supressing you. Simple as that.

I kinda agree with you, but I will also be blunt, no one here said they were Rambo, with that being said, being sprayed by anyone creates suppression, you take cover and they keep spraying you all the way until they need to reload their weapon, your team still has not killed him, he reloads his weapon, while he is reloading, you are still suppressed, then his weapon is reloaded and he starts spraying again.

Now dont get me wrong I like suppression, I think it is awesome, but there are some aspects that need some attention. When there are not bullets flying at you, the suppression should be gone immediately, giving you time to make a solid move from one position to another, without your screen being drunk. Pistols should not suppress you nearly as bad as any other weapon does in this game. That is ******ed. I am not saying remove it from pistol fire all together, just maybe make the effect a little less effective? if that makes any sense.

The bottom line is you shouldn't be rewarded for bad aim. You shoot at me & miss & get rewarded, while I basically get penalized for not being shot, lmfao. How is that logical?? I could understand the effect taking place if you're actually being hit, but rewarding bad aim seems pretty stupid to me, especially when the game has a specific class just for that.

It doesnt reward bad aim - you wont win a fight with suppression if the other player is behind cover. You still have to hit them. It punishes players that are running and gunning out of cover and forces players to use cover.

Yes, it does reward bad aim. You can word it however you need to in order to make yourself feel better about it, but just bc you pour syrup on sh*t doesn't make it pancakes. The bottom line is you shoot & miss & I can't see f*ck all, I'm blind & can't accurately return fire, you've been rewarded. I on the other hand, am penalized for not being hit, that penalty being the fact that I'm now blind AF. I'm fine w being blind If I'm being hit, but it's utterly r*tarded that a silenced pistol, or any weapon really, being fired at me from 50m away & missing should make my screen look like I've had too much to drink. & my "punishment" for running around "out of cover" should be my death from your effective shooting, Christ, I'm in the open & out of cover as you say, come kill me. I'd say that's punishment enough.

If the TTK was lower, then yes.
If you want to discuss removing suppression for pistols, i'm all for it.
Personally, I would prefer the mechanic worked differently (I would like it to only cause a blur for Third person view, you can ADS without it) but as things stand, in a Third person game with corner/cover peaking, such high TTK, huge range damage drop off, the game needs something.

Its all well and good saying that the punishment should be death, but if its going to take 1 shot to kill from a sniper - and 20 from the other class, then there has to be some kind of mechanic to make the game balanced.
