Yea. This feature is another staple of Ubi FC games.Originally Posted by Firefox14088 Go to original post![]()
Yeah it is part of this week's live challenge. If you don't do the challenge there will be one to buy instore after it is over.Originally Posted by AkenoKobayashi Go to original post
Are you kidding me!? Really!? That is all I have wanted since FC3 was a high cap pistol and they give us two potentially high cap pistols (P226 and now the M9) and then give us only 10 round mags in them? FFS, glad I don't do arcade and wasted my time to get something I don't care for.Originally Posted by Firefox14088 Go to original post
And 9mm Beretta's come standard with 15 rounds and you can get 18 round extended mags for them.
....me neither for the same reason.Originally Posted by AkenoKobayashi Go to original post
@OP,
Yeah, that sort of stuff bugs me personally. ....and I wish it stopped with just this one example of the M9 but I know that isn't so.
I'm an enthusiast and owner myself but I think there are also those who simply like some level of accuracy to such things in their games.Originally Posted by Joseph_SLC Go to original post
That's the category I fall into. I know about guns but have never owned one personally (country restrictions I don't want to be bothered dancing through). It also bothers me that the AR-CL looks the same as the AR-C with the same magazine but only holds 10 rounds, or the MP5s and SMG-11 have 24 rounds instead of 30 or the Skorpion has 24 instead of 20. Or that the A-99 looks like it has the 32 round mag but only has 20 rounds.Originally Posted by Kean_1 Go to original post
It also bugs me that the 45/70 or 308 Carbine would one shot most prey animals in this game (which they have fixed for the most part in the latest patch). Or that you have to shoot an animal in the head to one shot it. What kind of hunter aims for the head IRL? Look pretty funny with a deer head on your wall with one side of the skull blown out. It really bugs me in this day and age that if you shoot a guy in the foot or hand he dies instead of being wounded (ala FC2). This is the 21st century, we have super advanced computers compared to what they had back then why do we not have more advanced hit boxes for animals and people by now?
Also why have we not advanced enough that instead of certain areas on the map animals roam all over it? Or that you start fighting one type of enemy but as soon as you advance past a certain part all of a sudden they disappear and you are fighting harder enemies that require you to use limited-to-carry special ammo? Speaking of ammo!... Why are loadouts not based on the number of magazines you carry instead of just an arbitrary number? If I carry 10 30-round magazines (an easy load to manage) that would give me 300 rounds. But for some reason I carry 330 at the maximum whether I am carrying an AR-C or a 45/70. 10 reloads on a 45/70 would only be 40 rounds. Also why does every weapon of a certain type use the same ammo pool? If I carry a 1911 and a P226 (which I assume is 9mm from the damage but is probably .45 from the mag capacity) I only have 40 rounds between both guns. Why do I use the bullets out of the one gun when the extra ammo is gone? Do I unload my mags every time I put a gun away and drop the bullets in my backpack?
Sorry that this turned into a rant, but like I said accuracy bugs me. A lot apparently, but for the most part I don't let it bug me. If I could make a videogame I would and I am pretty sure no one else would play it because it would be so accurate as to be boring and possibly unplayable. Before I stop I just want to point out I didn't even get started about the vehicles or aircraft.
