Division 2's Anti-cheat measurements.
Anti-cheat has to be discussed and detailed before the game is officially revealed because I feel like it's something that's not gonna be on the main stage at E3, despite the fact that anti-cheat has been something Division has been struggling with the most.
Remember, Division isn't primarily a PVP game like R6S, so again, I don't expect it to organically be in its gameplay during E3.
Discussing the game's anti-cheat system will not spoil the game or hurt marketing. If anything, it'll help, especially if pre-orders become available day of the reveal. Why am I in the dark or allowing my imagination to run wild about what the anti cheat in Division 2 could be? I can see that pertaining to Division 2's location or its weapon list, but its anti-cheat? Come on.
With the string of threads lately about hackers and chronus max, wouldn't it make sense to talk about what the devs, or Division 2, will do to combat these things BEFORE you show off the game or am I crazy?
I have a feeling of what's gonna happen: Anti-cheat will be discussed in a separate post on the Internet, whether that's a thread on here, a post on the game''s official site, or offhandedly in an interview by a dev some days later after its reveal. Sure, that might work, but the current silence on it is already hurting Division 2, imo.
You guys have a lot of patience. You are still expecting that Ubisoft has capability to setup a 100% working anti-cheat system? They ain’t even capable to implement a workaround for cronusmax sasg striker issue.
Do you guys also hope that elephants will fly one day?
Instead of making these threads, accept the fact Ubisoft will not do anything and abandon their game just like what happened to destiny, then only these guys will wake up and yeah if you make too much noise then here is the standard format of answer.
“Yes we are aware of the issue and we are working on it. At this point of time we don’t have any update.”
And with this they have been fooling people and will continue to do so.
Apparently, it's good in in R6S.Originally Posted by zXTheLastManXz Go to original post
You don't need gameplay to talk about anti-cheat. They didn't need gameplay when they talked about the Blockchain technology, or when they talked about what made the game lose its playerbase.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
They can apply the same for anti-cheat.
There will be no anti cheat discussed before E3 and it won't be discussed at E3.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
You can bet the bank on it.
The game will be hyped for a year after the reveal and cheating will never be a topic of discussion. It's not a competitive PvP franchise and Ubisoft simply doesn't care.
No tournament sponsors. No money wasted on anti cheat.
As it stands.all of us that are reporting cheats like the god mode black bar are being told to **** off and it's a misunderstanding. You send video of how to do it and how it works and they shrug it off and blame your internet without knowing what ISP you even have.
PvP in this franchise is crap and it always will be.
E3 will be an early sales pitch all hype no negative things mentioned. Would you ask a girl out on a date but say you have no money and the dates on her, get the drift. The game will probably cost 150m to make with 200 people working on it at times they need 3 or 4 million sales the first few days, and you know what they will probably get that despite D1 issues.
