Renown bonus for not team killing

Just thought Id throw it out there, if players go 5-10+ matches, with out getting a team kill give them some kind of bonus that increases the further they go, now for season pass holders and 200+ account players this isnt a huge favor but I think ited be kind of a nice incentive for some players to avoid team killing. Trolls will still be trolls but for the lifeless hardcore rb6 players that take the game way too seriously even in casaul ited be nice to get some kind of bone. For those of us that put up with the idiots that team kill and just shrug it off and keep playing instead of acting like a child and going for revenge ited be nice.

Great idea..,but, do you think that could adversely affect the 'feel' of the game? If a portion of the players will (and they will) become more defensive about threading that needle shot, when getting closer to grabbing the carrot, they may become complacent about the whole thing if someone trolls them into a tk. Bummer, but that's probably how it would play out.

I say no rewards for not doing things you shouldn't be doing anyways. Don't tk and anyone can freely play without the risk of burning their $80.00 account (or more). But I still like the way you think. Keep going outside the box and you'll get there..eventually

Kind of reminds me of a certain insurance company that gave back "rewards" for not getting into accidents. But I do also see where WBBCoop is coming from since it'd be a reward for not doing something you shouldn't be doing anyways. It seems like it'd be low effort to implement, but we also need to consider the message we're sending to players about our philosophy regarding TKing.
Also, I wonder if a renown bonus would really be incentive enough. The only situation in which I can imagine it would actually be most effective would be if you're on a TK streak, but some bully TKs you in game and you don't TK back in order to keep your bonus streak.

The inherent problem with rewards in general is that the greater the reward the greater the risk of ghoulish behavior against the well behaved. As UbiNoty pointed out, you may need greater incentive for players to react with..perhaps lowering the 25k renown cost on the specific seasons operators and once you establish max gain it levels off and you have to maintain a tk free stat or it halves (or whatever).

It would be a great incentive, but as you can see it may upset you when 'Whoop5' runs into your line of fire ( Think Plane..and I get dibs on that psn name if nobody wants it!!) more than a +.5% renown surplus.

Why not punish people that TK or do excessive damage to another player? more than the 15 min penalty sanction and 15 min renown penalty..
Personally I wouldn't sit there waiting 15 minutes before playing again, I'd probably load another game then go back to siege later (if at all)

In my opinion, if you damage a teammate more than 50% or TK you shouldn't get any rewards at all, no ELO, no renown, no pack (if you win) literally nothing at all. (treat them as if they didn't play the game)

Further more they should drop ELO points for doing this even if the team wins they get + points, the TKer/Troll/Toxic players get - points.

I do agree that more severe punishments should be made to the TKers, but thats just plain overkill. Do you know how much people would be punished with this? People would stop using any gadget that deal dmg (like nades for example) cause I cant count the amount of times my friend got hit by my nade (not killed but hit), and from what I understand any tk should be treated as a full removal of any type of reward. Thats too much. And it would also work the other way. Imagine a troll running up to your thermite charge just to kill himself so that you wont get anything from the match. Lets not forget about the fact that if you tk someone in the first round of the match and you will still be punished by the system then whats the point of taying in the match?

Also Im not sure whether those are your stats https://r6db.com/player/16de9316-18c...9-99bfdfaf3ee0 but looking at them you played around 1400 matches, and have 650 penalty kills. If all of those were in different matches then you wopuldnt get ANYTHING from HALF of the matches played.

You forgot to mention it would stop ppl from resetting teammates which would be a low blow.

True. I dont know what Ubisoft thinks about the whole reseting thing, but if they didnt like it then that is a way to stop it.

As far as I've seen they treat it like they do bandit tricking, wasn't intended but it works so they allow it.
