Water :
The water in the game is no good. It does not flow, waterfalls are real ugly (no white in it) and the water does not even flow. The character does not float a bit when swimming in a river. And some small and big debries would be challanging.
- it also sould be louder, even small creeks and especially waterfalls. A Waterfall makes BIG noise, even a small one is heared from a distance
Cold areas :
- snowfall is missing
- visible breath is missing
- It would be nice if there were some missions in the snowy areas. The cartell has so many "branches", but "storing" is missing. They could store their stuff in the snowy parts of Bolivia, to keep it fresh ("for the best quality!")
General SUGGESTIONS
- dead bodies :
at least the first 15 to 20 corpses should stay
- some kind of a peaceful mode :
The Game-World is so huge, let´s take advantage of it ! Maybe some Kind of "Explorer/Researcher-Campaign" ; Making Fotos of Animals and Plants, collecting Herbs, taking watersamples, Fotos of certain places, Talk to people to find animals or plants ... Or a Hunting Campaign.
- better comrades :
The AI of our comrades sucks. A bunch of morons. They just don´t do what I tell them. specific orders for them would help. Like taking a sniper position for the sniper, give covering fire for the "assault-rifle-guy" and else ...
As mentioned, it should be apparent by some of the limitations in GRW, and FC5 as well, be it draw distance, lack of full foliage physics, etc, that they had to make some compromises just to get performance to the level it is. Despite that, some on mediocre spec still struggle to get adequate FPS even with lowered settings.
And if they DID have corpses staying longer, it would be a set amount of the last ones shot staying onscreen, not the first whatever amount. I do recall though that some games used to have an adjustable setting for corpse stay, which would be ideal. The problem with that though his they only made enemies notice corpses if the actual body remained, so if it were an adjustable setting only those with high end spec could get more realistic stealth features.
What they could have done though is compromise and have guards notice the pool of blood left behind. Of course then it would upset those that wanted to be able to move corpses. So they'd have to yet again change something and make non lethal takedowns possible.
People see things they don't like, and often don't understand just how much work it takes to properly change it to the way they want it. There's a lot of things to account for. First they have to prioritize the most requested suggestions, then they have to account for everything it takes to properly make the change. Otherwise it's a short sighted change that could cause more problems than it solves.
