Currently bored with my builds...is STAMINA/FA firecrest any good?

Figured i'd ask...as iv'e been playing this game since day one. And quite frankly i'm starting to get bored with my PVP/skirmish builds. Iv'e done striker, predator, nomad, alpha, final measure. But now i'm thinking of trying fire crest since i have 6 classy pieces laying in my stash i never knew i had. But i'm not a electronics type of guy, i would opt for 8k stamina & 5k firearms. I only caught my eye because of the 6pc talent of " 2% chance to set enemies on fire". Which i thought might work in pvp since everyone seems to run 6pc classified not being able to shoot back because they arent wearing a ferros mask....yeah yeah yeah i know about the immune box but that doesnt always save you.

So for anyone using 6pc firecrest is that 2% chance to set enemies on fire work like the intense talent which is the fire bullet of magazine, or is it any random bullet? I'd like to constantly set players on fire WITH MY WEAPON NOT A FLAME TURRET "kind of like the annoying predator bleed". So maybe running a mix of weapon talent intense & wildfire might be enough? I havent had the chance to try the 6pc out yet since im not home but will do later on this evening.

I know its an electronic build, I'm not looking to do damage from setting players on fire. I'm simply looking to pause them during combat by not allowing them to shoot because they are constantly getting set on fire patting themselves down making them waste medkits. So does the 6pc talent firecrest talent "Bullets have a 2% chance to cause an enemy to burn" is that the same thing as Intense weapon talent "The first bullet of a magazine has a 25% chance to apply the On Fire Status Effect to the target". One says ON FIRE STATUS EFFECT while the other says CAUSE ENEMY TO BURN. So does the 6pc talent have the on fire status effect or not?

The six piece status talent does light people on fire, yes.

It doesn't sound like a horrible setup, given that your Firecrest would then be giving you bonus damage against the people who happen to BE on fire.

...make sure to use the turret as well, because...well, it's even more people being on fire. ^_^

Yes it can work. For a long time I ran a balanced build for unlocking m. So I believe this could work being more Remember you can't just go toe to toe with the 3 metas, you have to out think them in a fight and use your turret to your advantage. Especially since they nerfed the fire turrets a while back, but you might get a chance to stun a player for a few seconds.

Will do, i dont want to use the flame turret but i might have to. Iv'e always played with overdose & immune box, but ill see. Now i need to figure out to run 8 or 9k stamina, was thinking the house deadly & unforgiving/LVOA deadly, unforgiving, intense in the free slot for 9k stamina. OR 8k stamina with responsive, deadly on the house and responsive, unforgiving, intense on LVOA.
