I have a question on this subject. Are all the choppers the exact same speed / handling? They don't show any specs from one to another. Just curious. I don't want to want waste cash if they are all the same speeds and handling. If you have guns and rockets on one then your done and move on if nothing else changes.
All the ones I've tried so far have the same slow speed and sluggish handling, including a freebie I unlocked somehow that has dual guns and a bright camo color.Originally Posted by Overland SEO Go to original post
Well exactly, it is NOT your point.Originally Posted by OurJud Go to original post
Which is why the post was actually directed to OP's instead. If only you realized that, you wouldn't have come across as such an idiot, right?
And no apparently I don't shout my mouth. These are texts, they are typed, which is probably you should try reading.
But you said, "Okay let's see, with this logic...", which in no way suggests you were addressing the OP, because he hadn't proposed any 'logic'.Originally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post

From what I can tell, all choppers have same speed and handling. The only real difference is if you want no guns, guns, or guns, rockets, and flares. So if you have the buy early bonus of the bright green chopper with guns, rockets and flares then you can be set all game long.....if you don't mind flying in a neon green chopper. I know ingame it doesn't make a difference in being spotted but to me it just doesn't seem right to be going to war basically in a freakin look at me neon green chopper.....
IME, there are few differences between each of the helos. As long as you get one that is outfitted with rockets, guns and flares (as mentioned) there really is no need to buy any of the others unless you like the "look" of them. Their flight characteristics are very similar.Originally Posted by Overland SEO Go to original post
Same can be said for the ground vehicles. There are more cons than pros to some and to be honest, the value of a buying a technical (for instance) far outweighs the benefits (if any) of buying one of several cars in this game. ....and there is no way to customize them beyond aesthetics. Most vehicles travel at about the same speed and handle a little differently from one another. ....there are a couple of exceptions.
Personally, I would have preferred a balance that would bring out more unique pro/con features in each. .....and customization beyond just things like paint. GTAV is an excellent example of this IMO for both aircraft and vehicles (in regard to balance in the former).
The vehicles in FC5 are what lent to an overall lack of depth in the game for me. ....the weapons had a similar issue in selection, balance, stats, etc.
This is not a realistic helicopter speed at all. In the Kaumbat chopper it takes exactly 40 sec to travel 1000m (1km) which is exactly 90km/r.Originally Posted by OurJud Go to original post
Hardly a realistic speed. Max speed should be easily over 200km/h. I’d be happy with 150 even.
Waaaaay to slow.
And why 150 km/h? Map is 8km, then you fly over the map within e.g. 10 sec. Ubi knows why they created slow helis, because if not then you easily go through whole county and then you'll complain there that map is small for helis. That's why they are slow.Originally Posted by P0werfulOwl Go to original post
Remember, this game is not simulator. For this purpose there are another games like Arma.
