    Amper and Johan....

Will Cronus be addressed in The Division 2? Its out of hand and this is a simple yes or no question. I know nothing can be done on this beautiful disaster we call The Division but we as a player base have every right to know if its sequel will be just as flawed or if Massive and Ubisoft will do whats right.

At best, you'll get an answer to this question at E3. At worst, it will be ignored until then (and beyond). I'm guessing either that, or you will get a response, but it'll be something along the lines of "it's not something we can address at this point in time".

Good luck on getting an answer. I have been trying to get one for a long time. Back and forth communications with their customer support team. The bottom line is that Ubisoft allows the use of this device.

I'm calling it now. This thread is going to get locked because of another ongoing thread on the same topic on this forum.

yeah, it will probably be closed to avoid it further but most threads are about the use of it in the Division while this one is about TD2. I know they cant do anything in the current game and I know there is a 99.9999999999% i wont even get a reply on this thread as well.

As far as them allowing it, i dont think that is the issue currently, they dont allow it but they have no defense against it. I say that because I got banned from the forum once for asking people to post their scripts for it and i was quickly put in to timeout for promoting cheating in the forum, so they know its cheating but they also know this game has zero tools to do anything about it. ITs sad and im just hoping for a more comprehensive plan going forward.

    Hey moe,

The current Cronus update is that we're still looking into a potential resolution, keeping in mind the suggestions everyone has provided in the past. When we have more, we'll let you know.

Question: is Cronus really that bad? Or is it the way people use it that makes it a bad thing?

My point of view is if players are using the cheat macros. Then yes it is a bad thing. Yet I have spoken with a player quite a while back that explained without it he wouldn't be able to play the game or any game. I see far more players abusing it, so is it part of this generation of NMFs (Not My Fault) or is it the actual tool itself?

The answer needs to be Ubisoft or Sony or Microsoft or who ever needs to clamp down and take a stand. Recently, someone had stated to me that we need to for lack of better words. "Walk a way from the game" and let it be known to Massive, Ubi, Microsoft, and Sony that we aren't spending anymore money on their products unless they fix this type of thing. I laughed and stated, "Do you know how many players it would take to get any of these companies to even feel it in their bottom line. Players complained about TD and the DZ and had CMs and Devs tell them that they already had our money and to walk away, they didn't care.

To make Cronus fail, you need players to see the risks of using it out weighs the benefits you get from using it. Meanwhile we see in these forums how many players complaining about how bad it is and it is getting worse.

Its how it is used. I could care less if someone is using a different controller or actually needs the device. The device doesnt need to be banned, the abuse of the device does and with extreme prejudice.
