Reported a cheater ingame and on website and this is what I get as answer.

I reported a cheater ingame who was clearly speedhacking (he was speeding in the park like The Flash) and 1 shot me through the crates and walls in Bryant park in DZ with the ingame report option in the chatbox and I also reported him via this website with a ticket and this is the answer I got:

"In order to further investigate we need evidence of the player actually cheating, otherwise we won't be able to act on it, do you happen to have any images / videos of this player that clearly show he's cheating?"

Then I ask myself, the ingame report option is actually pretty useless, isn't it? But I always knew that option was only there to ease players mind after they encountered a cheater ingame.
This is so demotivating, I wanna uninstall the game, never touch it again.

Happened to me once or twice. I'm waiting for extraction with a FULLY optimized 6 piece Nomad (9k stamina) and get one shotted dead with no proc. One reason I usually don't bother with the DZ and never go on manhunts.

They should NEVER be asking for evidence. They shouldn't even be asking for reports.

If you do something outside the limits of the game, you should be automatically banned on the spot. No humans involved.
If the server sees cheating, you're gone.

Investigations are supposed to be for over turning a wrongful ban. But let's face it... Fairfight and Punkbuster rarely get it wrong.

No point of reporting cheaters or exploiters. Nothing comes out of it. On console, we have to use Ubisoft's support ticket system to report players. It usually takes up to 30 days for a response. We send in video clips as proof and we see the same individuals doing the same thing for months on end. Nothing happens. It's waste of time.

For example, there is an individual in the ps4 community that is exploiting the invincibility glitch. He has been reported to community management team and there have been numerous video clips showing this individual doing it. He even admitted he was using an exploit. This individual is not banned, and this individual continues to use this exploit to this day.

Are you saying that Ubisoft should just take our word for it that people are cheating when we resort to the in-game reporting function without any need for further proof at all?

    Surely not.

They shouldn't need proof. They shouldn't even need reports.
The anti cheat in this game is ridiculous. Like something from 1980.

Basically, the anti-cheat in this game is called The Honor System. And we all know how well that works.

Then WHY is there an INGAME reporting option? If you use it they CANNOT do anything with the reports? So what is the use of that, why is it there??
It has NO use! So what is the point of it? They better remove the ingame reporting option again!
It is just there to ease players mind, nothing more.

Well maybe they should police their own game rather than the players having to do it for them. You know, like other companies do. They are effectively saying that you, as a customer, need to find, report and provide proof of the cheating before they will even consider doing anything about it. You may as well run your own server if that's the case, It's bone idle customer/game support.
