    The first time was terrible.

Afterwards,I treat it like any maze. Put your hand on one wall and never take it off. You come out the other side. It's impossible to fail or get lost that way. It's the nature of any maze.
So in this game,I put a wall on my right side and follow it religiously.

It's actually true. As long as your hand never leaves the wall, you'll always go to the exit. lol

In theory, yes, but problems arise when you run into parts where you can't keep your hand on that wall (blockades, transitions, etc)...or when you're running against a timer and don't have time to "brute force" your way through every pathway you encounter.

...or when you're like me and think you know better and say, "Oh, I recognize this area..." and it turns out you actually don't.

There's no such thing as a blockade or transition that prevents this. If the blockade is against a wall, then it is a wall. Keep your hand on it just like a wall.

Even if it takes you in an empty room that you know is wrong, keep to the wall and back around to the door and continue. There is no maze that prevents this. It's just not possible to fail.

The thing that makes it work is that a maze,by design,is split into two pieces.
There's the left side of the maze and the right side of the maze. They are not connected to each other in any way. If they are,it would be a hard blockade at the connection and the maze would have no path to get through. If you keep your hand on the right wall, you are outlining the edge of the right portion of the maze.

The thing in this game is not a true maze but using this method prevents you from repeating yourself.

Always go in team of two for side missions you can't believe how much easy and time saving it will be.
