    New orochi yes!!!!!

i love the new changes, they just buffed the current move set rather than taking them away and adding all new play style. i didn't want a new class but just a tuned up orochi. so my question is this. will the orochi still be laking a turtle opener like he was before or will the new toolset have an answer to this? and should he have gotten an unblock able attack? of course we won't know until season 6 but I'm just asking opinions on these. mostly i hope he still doesn't struggle vs the turtles. every other class has a turtle opener skill except orochi. he is going to be a better counter attacker now but if the enemy just sits will the orochi still have no answer to this? can't counter attack someone who doesn't attack right? love the changes but i really just wanted a little kick or some other ability to open campers. don't care if it does no damage or stamina drain..or even if it damaged me it would be fine!! haha

Even though this is sold as a rework it really doesn't look like one. Orochi is still cursed by the fact that you can block everything, you can just sit there and wait, ironically making him the counterattacker and not the Orochi. To be a counterattacker you have to give you're opponent an incentive to attack, this being Orochi's greatest flaw he has none. His move set was for some reason made to be an aggressive ATTACKER and in this game that is your worst option without a turtle opener. His counterattack abilities are still useless unless your opponent is attacking, this is why the Tozen kick isn't meant to be in the Orochi move set because you would hit him once and he's back and turtling with no incentive to attack. His best bet is to give him a dodge side heavy like Nobushi and Kensei so your opponent has to guess from where the attack will come, and a hurricane blast alternate without turning your back to him (of course) and being able to be parried that way you can play mind games with your opponent to make an opening. And storm rush is now only slightly less useless but it's basically the Highlander's forward heavy faint which as we know from experience that that move in itself needed a buff. So in short Orochi is now how he should have been before the rework and even though I still need to play with him to be sure but I think he is still no where near where he should be by now.

good point, if he can't get you to attack how is he a counter attacker? is there a way he could get the opponent to attack? any ideas on this? I'm afraid they will still have the same issues as before. of course they will be much better. i guess we just need to play it first before jumping to conclusions. she looks much better and more fun! thats for sure!
