Oh that is crazy, my only complaint would be about the design of the front ship's hull which is too vertical imo, maybe a V shape would make it more agressive.
I don't know if that make sense for you.
But those interiors are phenomenal, truly mind blowing, you deserves many kudos for that. The archs reminds me of the ones we could find in Watch Dogs Chicago city.
Out of curiosity, was it difficult for you to manage budget memory restriction regarding shapes ?
Ty, well tried the V hull, but then ilearned that the triangle shapes weigh heavy on the budget. I removed all the triangles i could and saved 10 % in total. It odd why these triangle cost so much. So it wasnt worth the V hull.Originally Posted by FlyingSpiritus Go to original post
Managing budget, ofcourse also still getting used to this insane budget. But with good planning, you can stretch it pretty far..i knew i wanted the rooms on the side of the ship, so made sure they on there own grid.
Rio, you can tell those ‘people’, it’s all from imagination land. Ofcourse i looked at some images of some ships to get the juices flowing. But thats called research i guess
yh its pretty big, these 10 minute matches not so good for bigger maps. Thinking of making it bit smaller.
Looks amazing! How long did that take you to make?
Btw you can rotate a little the wall shapes to make the hull be a V-shape, no need to use triangles.
Oh and not sure if you implemented, but those ships have huge stability flaps on the sides below water, so adding a horizontal metal beam of sorts that looks as if something can come out would make it look even more realistic. Also, why not make an anchor in front, I think there are cool chains links you can use.
Oh uh forgot the link again.

Updated the map, made it bit smaller, closed up some corridors and replaced the armed chopper. With one for sight seeying. For better ballance.
