In Far Cry 4 on PC we used to be able to test maps that hadn’t passed validation. This essentially allowed a single player mode where you could battle against hordes of AI with loads of vehicles from wave one.
It also freed us from having to swap AI from grid to grid to keep in the budget constraints (one of the most annoying things ever in small map creation)
Why did they take this away in FC5? Why do we have to satisfy the validation budget even if we don’t plan on publishing a map?
Ubisoft, please give back the option to play test maps that haven’t passed validation!
Rio you’re on nearly every thread just trolling, spend more time on your broke spawn trap maps instead of thinking you know everything about far cry editor. You have nothing to say but crap yourself. Typical forum trollOriginally Posted by rioseven Go to original post
I see you must have been around the Far Cry scene for a long time with your 16 posts.Originally Posted by grrlloyd1a Go to original post
You couldn’t publish maps in FC4 that had too many AI, Rio, but you could still play test them. The editor would simply warn you that you couldn’t publish while not validated. That’s my point: use validation for publishing maps, but not for play testing on your system. It was possible in Far Cry 4. Let us do the same with Far Cry 5.Originally Posted by rioseven Go to original post
